As Kiddotron awakens, her body rockets forward; and she finds herself panting heavily, frantically looking around. Mr. 337 lays sound asleep next to her, peaceful and angelic. The three green creatures snore contently, as they dream of a jellybean world. Grinning, Kiddotron cherishes these souls that found her. The smile fades, as her head lowers. She cannot stay here anymore. Wiping away an oily tear, Kiddotron shakes off any organic emotion that attempts to hack her system. Leaning towards 337, the melancholy cyborg bestows a goodbye kiss upon his forehead. A metallic tattoo of her lips is stamped onto his skin. Rising to her feet, Kiddotron looks into the forest, ready to face anything that comes her way. Before she ventures off, she gives each of the creatures a caress upon their scaly heads.
"I would have named them Flotsam, Jetsam, and Loki," Kiddotron thought to herself.
As one of her boots snaps a twig, one of the green friends awakens.
Kiddotron puts a finger up to her lips. "Shhhhh."
What would have been Jetsam gazes at her sadly.
"Goodbye."
The solo-act robot girl sprints off to an unknown future, leaving anything comforting behind. It is how she was programmed.
(But, she secretly hopes that, one day, the path of 337 crosses with her own- to see those electric blue eyes one more time.)

337 impresses
Crunching and snapping of twigs, pitter patter of quick boots, and heavy breathing are the sounds made from 337 and Kiddotron.
The concerned robot girl can sense that this earthling does not have night vision. She finds his hand, and grabs it tightly to prevent him from tripping over uprising roots and obstructive rocks.
A slight smile escapes from 337's face, and the two continue towards their destination.
"How much further, Mr. 337? I fear I may have to charge my batteries very soon."
"Almost there, miss. Almost there."
Approaching a section of the forest that glows emerald green, Kiddotron notices that the trees have menacing eyes.
She instantly becomes alarmed.
"We are here," said 337, with a sigh of relief.
At that moment, three, snarling, dark olive green creatures begin to crawl out of the trees. Reptile-like and exposing sharp, jagged teeth, the threatening inhabitants begin to approach the two runaways.
Kiddotron instinctively switches to defense mode, ready to battle.
337 remains calm, and reaches into his jacket pocket to reveal a clear bag of jellybeans.
A peace offering.
At the sight of this sugary splendor, the aggressive creatures hault in their tracks.
With panting tongues, and toothy smiles, the pacified animals gallop towards 337 to collect their treat.
Jumping onto the earthling man, the playful beasts devour the jellybeans and begin licking 337 with gratitude.
Laughing uncontrollably on the ground, he looks up at Kiddotron, who remains standing still in shock.
"How did you know?," she inquires.
337 stands up, flashes a smile, and responds, "I know quite a bit about the wildlife that lurks in these forests. The soldiers do not have the appreciation to learn about nature like I do. They seem to only focus on things such as technology and electronics."
"You really are a special being aren't you, 337?"
Shy and modest, "I am not that special, really. ...You better lay down and charge yourself."
With that being said, Kiddotron, 337, and the three scaly creatures lay down on the mossy ground to slumber.
The last thing Kiddotron sees before she shuts her flickering eyes, is the handsome 337. She smiles, then drifts into her humming charge setting, gaining energy to continue the adventure.

He likes her.
"Thanks", says the shocked stranger, dusting himself down with a shy smile. He pauses.
Blue bleeds into green as their eyes meet. In a nano-second, universes are born and die all around and all that matters is this moment. She is made of familiar shapes. Designed very well, yet the product of a very special collaboration between very different creators of opposing disciplines. Completely unique. No small semblance of nature, but there's something else. She has curves and chemistry with the potential to speed his beating heart, but there's an alien light behind her eyes. A sweet and subtle electricity emanating. He feels welded to the spot and compelled to give in to intrigue and learn more about this Kiddotron. He likes her.
He realises he's been staring longingly into the pretty strangers eyes for what seems like an eternity.
"I don't know my name." he stumbles over the syllables. Pauses again. "I... I have a number?" He shows her a crudely tattooed number under his left ear. 337.
"I awoke under the canopy. It isn't safe. There are men here, searching for someone or something important. They have guns, heat sensors, cloaking devices and snarling Quadrobots. They're carving their way through the trees. I think perhaps someone or something important has escaped from the laboratory in the valley. I can't pretend to know who or what I am, but I am better for you then the soldiers. This I know. We should go further into the forest. To a place I know, which they fear. We should go, now, before sunrise!"
He lifts curling fronds out of her way, as if holding a door open. Kiddotron, seemingly unflustered by his warnings, gives a little nod. And together they step into the foreboding labyrinth of ancient trees and invisible eyes.

Kiddo starts the story
Under a moonlit sky, through ornamental cornflower fields,
an extra-terrestrial, cyborg girl called Kiddotron sprints. Pumping mechanical
arms of steel and copper, partially bionic legs striding swiftly, she grips a
harmonica that has been with her always. During the fembot’s escape from the
laboratory, it was the only confiscated item she had time to grab.
Just up ahead is a forest of trees, a perfect place to hide
out for a while.
Kiddotron accelerates speed into this dark world of
vegetation. However, upon entry, she
runs straight into a human man, and both fall to the ground. Defensive mode instantly kicks into gear for
Kiddotron, and she jolts up ready to fight.
Resistance finds her, and her fists lower, when she notices that this
man does not want to fight. He is calm,
and he looks up at her with his eyes that glisten in the peeking moonlight. The
softened robot girl extends her slightly rusted hand out to help him up, and states, "I am Kiddotron."
As she helps the seemingly quiet man to his feet, Kiddotron looks at him curiously, and asks "What do they call you?"
